Thousands of Christians from around the world created a facebook account after the Pope gave a blessing to this social networking, witch he called it a new tool for spreading the word of God.
Pope Benedict has announced that starting this year, the faithful will have to mention on confessions whether they have fake accounts on social networking sites, if they committed adultery with people from they''re friends list or if they stayed invisible on messenger.
According to a statement issued by the Pope, staying invisible on messenger and creating fake accounts on facebook will be considered a capital sin, and will be punished as such.
Christians are also adviced not to accept any friends request before they check the sender''s religion first, on they''re profile. If they did accidently accepted anyone from other religions in they''re friends list, they should confess to a priest immediatly.
